Maggie Winter / MK Consulting
Maggie works with a wide rage of small businesses. Since 2020, owner of MK Consulting, Maggie Winter, has made it her mission to focus on businesses that are owned by black, indigenous and people of color assisting them in their PR strategy to get noticed and increase their visibility. Working with and supporting marginalized voices in this space has given Maggie insight as a white woman and opened her eyes to some of the difficulty these businesses go through. MK Consulting will analyze your small business, find the positive message and make it into your positive and unique media story.
Maggie started her career in television as a producer for local entertainment talk shows in Syracuse, NY and moved up the ranks to executive producer. Given the opportunity to move into a top 15 US media market, Maggie took the position of fashion/food producer for Twin Cities Live which airs weekdays and focuses on the people and places that make Minneapolis/St. Paul unique. Working closely with clients to help bring their brand and goals to life as a producer for 10 years, Maggie worked with a variety of clients and guests: restaurant owners, chefs, small business owners, fashion experts, interior designers, bloggers, lawyers, holistic experts, nutritionists and many more.
